INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Animal Care Services is hoping to find homes for as many pets as possible this holiday season during its “Home for the Holidays” adoption campaign.
The shelter will offer free adoptions with a donation from their Holiday Wish List for the remainder of December.
Donations can be purchased or brought to the shelter, or you can order from the shelter’s Amazon or Chewy Wish List and have it shipped directly to the shelter. Monetary donations to the Friends of Indianapolis Animal Care Services are appreciated and will help offset the cost of animal care.
Ready to adopt? Meet the cats and dogs up for adoption at Petfinder. The shelter also offers a two-week trial adoption program, called Cuddle Before You Commit, for adopters who may need more time to decide if adopting is a good fit for them.
IACS will close at 12 p.m. on Dec. 22 and will remain closed through Dec. 25. The shelter will resume regular business hours on Dec. 26.
