LEBANON, Ind. — Lebanon Police have charged a Thorntown man for three murders back in September.

Chad Grimball, 40, is charged for the Sept. 8 murders of Grace Bishop, Brannon Martin, and Larry Stogsdill, Jr. The three were found shot in the head inside an apartment on E. Walnut Street.

Investigators used DNA from cigarette butts found at the crime scene to link Grimball to the murders, according to court documents.

Grimball faces the following charges:

  • 3 counts of murder
  • 1 count of carrying a handgun without a license
  • 1 count of carrying a firearm without a license
  • 1 count of unlawful possession of a firearm by a domestic batterer

Grimball was served with a warrant on Dec. 8 at the Boone County Jail, where he has been since October for charges related to possession of a fiream by a felon.
