INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Metro Police arrested a man they say shot his son’s football coach.
Officers arrested 43-year-old Cameron Parks on Saturday for shooting the 36-year-old victim last month.
Officers found the victim shot on N. Chester Ave. on the morning of Nov. 22. He was taken to the hospital in non-life-threatening condition. His identity was not shared by IMPD.
During their investigation, detectives learned Parks previously had a “disturbance” with the victim and later shot him, IMPD said on Facebook.
Parks faces charges of aggravated battery, battery by means of a deadly weapon, intimidation, kidnapping, pointing a firearm, and unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.
