INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man is dead after a shooting on the city’s east side Friday evening, police said.
Around 8:40 p.m., officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 2900 block of East 19th Street on reports of a person shot.
Upon arrival, officers found a victim with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
No victim or suspect information was immediately released.
