INDIANAPOLIS–In October three men were found murdered in tall grass near South Meridian St. Now a 16-year-old has been arrested and charged with killing them.
Caden Smith has been charged with shooting and killing Michael James, Abdullah Mubarak and Joseph Thomas, said the Marion County prosecutor’s office, Friday afternoon.
Smith is also charged with robbery resulting in bodily injury, possession of meth and marijuana and possession of a machine gun.
Prosecutors say Smith was a suspect because of his communications with the victims. They were found robbed, with no cell phones, money or wallets. Police found what they believe to be the murder weapon in Smith’s home.
