Another two Hoosiers have died among seven people shot Wednesday evening across Indianapolis. The city’s record-breaking homicide rate for the year is now at 251.

Tony Katz points out how silent Indianapolis leadership across the board continues to stay silent on the ongoing violence in the city.

“Still nothing for the Indianapolis City County Council. Never mind that we don’t hear from the 20 Democrats about plans to deal with this- about an attempt to make things better in a city they so call ‘serve;’ I don’t hear from Republicans saying ‘why don’t Democrats do something?’… They don’t punch, they don’t fight.”
