INDIANAPOLIS — An American Airlines flight from North Carolina, headed to Chicago, made an emergency landing at the Indianapolis International Airport Wednesday afternoon.
The airline company says it was due to a “mechanical issue,” but all passengers and crew members landed safely, and will be getting another flight around 5 p.m. to get them to Chicago.
A maintenance team is investigating what caused the mechanical problem.
