Representative Jackie Walorski (R-IN) has been speaking out since her opposition vote on President Biden’s infrastructure bill. She released the following statement last week on the “socialist tax and spending scheme.”
“As Hoosier families face the devastating ramifications of President Biden’s inflation and supply chain crises, President Biden and the Democrats’ socialist tax and spend scheme is astonishingly out of touch with the American people. This big-government behemoth was never intended to help working families grow and succeed – it has always been about securing more control over Americans from cradle to grave…
Instead of listening to reason or even taking the time to determine how this multitrillion boondoggle will affect our economy, President Biden and the Democrats are doubling down on their socialist scheme….
The American people deserve far better, and I will continue to reject this alarming momentum and stand strong for our freedom and individual rights.”
Walorski joined Tony Katz Friday to encourage Americans to take their frustrations and focus on Republicans taking back the House next November.
We just had a plan and a guide on how to do this through the Trump administration. We just saw our nation employ more people than ever before…We can turn this around. All hope is not gone, we just had an example in front of us. Now we are watching them (Democrats) dismantle and destroy our country.
Walorski represents the 2nd Congressional District of Indiana, serving as a member of the House Ways and Means Committee and the Ranking Member of the House Ethics Committee.
