MT. VERNON, Ind.–A husband and wife were found dead in their home in Posey county, Saturday, said Indiana State Police. Foul play is suspected.
Sgt. Todd Ringle, with ISP, did not discuss how the couple died.
He said that a family member went to check on them just after 8 Saturday morning, and found them dead inside their home on Mulberry St. in Mt. Vernon. The Mt. Vernon Police Dept., and ISP are investigating the case as a homicide.
Autopsies were scheduled for Sunday to determine the cause and manner of death.
Anyone with information is asked to called Mt. Vernon Police or the Indiana State Police.
