INDIANAPOLIS — One person died Friday morning after being hit by a vehicle on the city’s south side.
IMPD confirmed that the person was hit and killed on northbound US 31 (East Street) between Epler Ave. and Thompson Road, according to WISH-TV’s Kevin Ratermann.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
A minor, secondary crash happened afterward in the southbound lanes of US 31.
