COLUMBUS, Ind. — A Columbus woman is in jail after she was caught with more than 100 pot brownies and bags of marijuana in her home.

On Wednesday afternoon, police received several complaints of “criminal activity” on Pearl Street. Around 3 p.m., officers were driving by when they noticed a house with its front door wide open, and the small of marijuana coming from inside.

When police approached the house, 37-year-old Courtney James slammed the front door and started arguing with officers.

Police got a search warrant for the home. Inside, they found more than 100 THC-laced brownies, marijuana cigarettes, loose marijuana, and syringes.

James was arrested for dealing and possessing marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting law enforcement.
