HARRISON COUNTY, Ind. — A man from Harrison County is accused of shooting his wife in the face.

Sheriff’s deputies were called to a shooting at a home in Palmyra at around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Upon arrival, deputies found a woman that had been shot in the face with a .40 caliber handgun.

The shooter was her husband, Darrell Bullion, according to Harrison Co. Sheriff Nick Smith.

The woman was taken to the University of Louisville Hospital in serious but stable condition.

Bullion was arrested for attempted murder, aggravated battery, domestic battery, criminal recklessness with a firearm, pointing a firearm, and neglect of a dependent.
