INDIANAPOLIS — A man is dead after a shooting on the near-northeast side Wednesday night.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 2100 block of East 30th Street just after 8:00 p.m. That is just west of the intersection of North Keystone Avenue and East 30th Street.
The man was transported to an area hospital in critical condition and died shortly after arriving.
No additional information about the man’s identity was provided.
