INDIANAPOLIS — One person was killed on Indy’s northwest side Monday morning, on I-65 near 71st Street.
Indiana State Police say a car going southbound just after 5 a.m. ran off the road, drove through the median and cable divider and came to a stop in northbound lanes. That’s when a Jeep crashed into the car.
The driver of the car died at a hospital. A second person was injured.
I-65 northbound was closed for about five hours.
