INDIANAPOLIS The Penrod Arts Fair, one of the largest fairs of its kind in the country, returns Saturday after being canceled last year because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The event will be held at Newfields from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Fair features approximately 350 artist booths divided among four main artist areas — Artists Blue, Green, Yellow, and Red. There are also about 75 non-artist booths for community organizations and dozens of food and beverage booths.

The Fair also includes a beer garden with beers from Indiana craft breweries, a Children’s Area, and multiple stages for live dance, blues, rock, folk, symphony, jazz, and other music and entertainment acts.

Tickets to the 54th Annual Penrod Arts Fair are $20 and can be purchased online.
