The Marion County Department Of Public Health is reportedly planning to send a 30-day mask mandate to the Indianapolis City-County Council, according to IndyPolitics.org’s Abdul-Hakim Shabazz.

Shabazz dropped the news via Twitter Wednesday afternoon, prompting Republican Councilor Michael-Paul Hart to respond: “So much for transparent government, I haven’t received any communication on this, and if you are correct, I’ll be voting on it next Monday.

If Shabazz is correct, the majority Democrat city-county council will undoubtedly vote in favor of imposing a new mask mandate. The likelihood of you winning the lottery is better than the plausibility that the council will vote “no.”
