INDIANAPOLIS–Two separate shootings were reported in Indianapolis Sunday night within 20 minutes of each other. One of them was fatal.
IMPD says the first shooting happened around 7 p.m. in the 5200 block of E. 32nd Street on Indy’s east side near 30th street and Emerson Avenue. Police say the victim in that shooting is recovering.
The second shooting was on the northeast side at around 7:20 p.m. in the 7800 block of Musket Street in an apartment complex not far from Community Hospital North. That is near East 75th Street and Shadeland Avenue. The shooting victim there was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators are looking for suspects in both shootings.
