INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Metro Police are investigating a fatal shooting on the city’s northeast side.
Police were called to a shooting at the Cavalier Court Apartments near 38th Street and Post Road just after 7 a.m. Thursday.
When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Any information, any piece, any little bit of information that residents may have to help detectives solve this case, is vital and we need them to come forward and let us know about this individual,” said IMPD Public Affairs Officer Samone Burris.
Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call IMPD or Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-TIPS.
