INDIANAPOLIS — You may not give car seats a second thought, but you probably should.
Indianapolis Metro Police say around 85-percent of car seats are misused, so the department is going to give parents a helping hand. IMPD will host a car seat clinic next week – that’s where parents can come have their car seats inspected by a child passenger safety technician.
You can also pick-up a free car seat, but you, your child and your car need to be there. The department says an appointment is required.
The event is this Tuesday, August 24th, from 12 noon to 4 PM at the IMPD office on North College Avenue.
