JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ind.–A man from Lexington, Indiana was arrested on multiple child pornography charges Wednesday.

In April of 2020, Indiana State Police arrested Vic Weil, 74, of Hanover for child solicitation and sexual misconduct with a minor. Investigators say they gained information in that case that led them to investigate Matthew Riddle, 35, of Lexington.

On July 12, 2021, they obtained a search warrant for Riddle’s home from the Jefferson County Circuit Court. Police say that the warrant allowed them to search his digital devices for child pornography.

After they looked at those devices, they requested an arrest warrant and got one. They arrested Riddle Wednesday on three counts of possession of child pornography (each a level 5 felony) and two counts of possession of child pornography (each a level 6 felony).

Riddle was taken to the Jefferson County Jail.
