Republicans and Democrats disagree on an array of things from voting laws to mask mandates and the teaching of Critical Race Theory. You would hope, however, that we would all agree on some basic things including standing up against communism.

During a press conference Wednesday, WH Press Secretary Jen Psaki would not admit that the root cause of Cubans fleeing their island was due to their communist government. She was asked blatantly, “Do you think that people are leaving Cuba because they don’t like communism?” Her response was anything but reassuring to a seemingly simple question.

“I think we’ve been pretty clear that we think people are leaving Cuba — or not — leaving Cuba or protesting in the streets, as well, because they are opposed to the oppression, to the mismanagement of the government in the country.  And we certainly support their right to protest.  We support their efforts to speak out against their treatment in Cuba.”

We’re glad the US supports the right to stand up to it’s government, but it’s much more than ‘mismanagement’ says Tony Katz.

“ Mismanagement? It’s Communism. Just say the words. Just. Say. The. Words. That’s all it takes! An honest, open, conversation, and recognition that Communism is the enemy of free-thinking people. It always has been and it always will be…it doesn’t matter where they are in the world nothing has killed more than the Communists.”
