INDIANAPOLIS — Two men are dead and another is hurt after shootings Thursday night on Indy’s west side.

Investigators are trying to figure out if the three shootings are related, police said.

Indy Metro Police were called to a shooting at around 8 p.m. Thursday at the Waterfront Terrace Apartments off of 34th Street. Upon arrival, officers found a man shot inside a car. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition but later died.

Another man was found shot inside a car near the entrance to the apartment complex along West 34th Street, said IMPD. He was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.

About 10 minutes later, police were called to a shooting at 1134 N. Elder Avenue, just off of West 10th Street west of the White River. The male victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition, where he died.

Police are still looking into what happened and will release the names of the victims once their families have been notified.
