Democrats and ‘Never Trumpers’ are all twitterpated Wednesday with headlines from corporate media outlets proclaiming the Trump Organization is expected to be charged with ‘tax crimes.’

How exciting! How thrilling! How completely and intentionally deceptive, although it’s genuinely satisfying to see that eight months after losing an election, former President Donald Trump is still living rent-free if these peoples’ heads.

Here’s the spin from CNN:

“The Manhattan district attorney’s office is expected to charge former President Donald Trump’s namesake company and its chief financial officer, Allen Weisselberg, as soon as Thursday with tax crimes in connection with an array of perks and benefits awarded to employees, people familiar with the matter tell CNN.”

Here’s what that actually means:

Trump’s company and its CFO are being charged with failing to pay taxes in New York on employee benefits – a very specific and narrow charge.

Here’s the spin from CNN:

“Though Trump faced multiple federal and state prosecutorial inquiries during his administration, the district attorney’s indictment would be the first to charge his company, the Trump Organization, with allegedly criminal conduct.”

Here’s what that actually means:

The folks who are professionally trained to go after the left’s political adversaries have been trying (and failing) for years to find a reason to charge Donald Trump personally with a crime. They still haven’t found anything yet, but they might be able to get his company and its CFO for not paying taxes on one specific thing.

Here’s the spin from CNN:

“And they will come after more than two years of investigation that began with an inquiry into accounting connected to hush-money payments made by former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen and expanded to include questions about whether the company or certain employees paid taxes on benefits including rent-free apartments, car leases or private school tuition.”

Here’s what that actually means:

CNN just wants to remind you of all the allegations and investigations that were previously launched against Trump. The former President was never charged with a crime, but reminding you of the previous stuff bolsters CNN’s article and manipulates the reader into thinking that Donald Trump has done so many nefarious things that he’s “literally Hitler.”

Here’s the spin from CNN:

“Prosecutors have also scrutinized cash bonuses paid to employees and whether appropriate taxes were paid on them, CNN reported Wednesday.”

Here’s what that actually means:

Prosecutors are hoping they can go after some of the Trump Organization’s employees, hit them with charges, and pressure them into providing intel that might eventually, maybe someday, charge Donald Trump with a Federal crime. Plus, it helps the corporate media out by allowing them to continue writing and talking about the former president since their ratings have plummeted in the wake of his presidency.

Conclusion:

Sorry to burst your bubble, Trump-haters, but the pending charges against the Trump Organization amount to little more than an accounting error. Mock n’ Rob explain why in the clip below.
