INDIANAPOLIS — Popcorn is set to become the official state snack on Thursday and a company that makes the crunchy stuff is hiring.
Weaver Popcorn, in business since 1928, plans to hire more than 100 highly skilled and experienced machine operators and technicians to work at its facilities in Indianapolis and in the Grant County town of Van Buren.
“As we continue to see high growth with our customers and overall demand in the popcorn category, the request for hiring highly skilled operators remains our focus as we’re undergoing a large-scale expansion project in Central Indiana,” said Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing CEO Jason Kashman.
