FORT WAYNE, Ind. — On Friday, a Hamilton Co. Corrections escapee was tracked down by State Troopers in Fort Wayne.
Rafael Rosa III, of Noblesville, is servicing a sentence for burglary and theft and walked away from custody on June 18th.
The Hamilton Co. Sheriff’s Department and State Police learned that Rosa might be hiding out in Fort Wayne, and was tracked to the Knotty Pine Motel.
Rosa tried to run away but was eventually caught by the police.
He was taken to the Allen Co. jail and is waiting to be transferred back to the Hamilton County jail.
