The focus of the press conference was supposed to be about the $1.2 trillion infrastructure deal; however, after consistently whispering into his microphone many of us were a bit distracted.

Three separate times President Biden answered the press’ questions with a wide-eyed gaze, leaning into the podium, and whispering his response.
The first hush-toned answer appears after a reporter asked about if families will receive additional financial relief during this season of the pandemic. Good ole’ Joe smiled hunched over and whispered, “I got them $1.9 trillion in relief so far. They’re going to be getting checks in the mail that are consequential this week for childcare.”
You would think once would be enough, but Biden was committed to his breathy bit. After stating he is taking Senator Murphy’s concerns about the environment seriously, he added in a whisper “I wrote the bill on the environment. Why would I not be for it?”
And as if he was saving the best for last, Biden delivered one final whisper. “Pay them more. This is an employee’s—an employee’s bargaining chip now.” Enough to send shivers down your spine, right? That answer was given after a reporter asked about Americans preferring to stay on unemployment rather than returning to work.
