INDIANAPOLIS — A man died Wednesday night after being shot at an apartment complex on the city’s east side.
The shooting happened at around 9:30 p.m. at an apartment complex at 1591 Barrington Avenue. That’s just northeast of East Minnesota Street and South Keystone Avenue.
IMPD said the victim, 40-year-old Preston Woods, was initially in critical condition, but later died. The Marion County Coroner’s Office said he had multiple gunshot wounds.
Indy Metro Police did not provide details about a motive or any possible suspects.
