LEBANON, Ind. — A police chase in Lebanon ended in a four-car crash and several people injured.

Deputies with the Boone County Sheriff’s Office spotted a stolen car Tuesday afternoon on State Road 32.

18-year-old Jamiah Brown, of Muncie, was behind the wheel, according to police.

When deputies tried to pull Brown over, she refused to stop and a chase ensued. Deputies ended the chase when it reached the city of Lebanon, where there were more cars and more people.

Brown was then involved in a four-car crash at the intersections of State Roads 32 and 39.

After the crash, Brown ran off with her baby in her arms. They were found south of the accident scene and Brown was arrested.

Everyone involved in the crash was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

After being checked and released from the hospital, Brown was taken to the Boone County Jail. She faces multiple charges including neglect of a dependent, vehicle theft, and reckless driving.
