INDIANAPOLIS–With Tuesday being the start of Pride Month, the Indianapolis Colts stated that they are committed to making the their community an inclusive place for all fans.

In a video he posted to Twitter Tuesday, Colts General Manager Chris Ballard said the team is offering support to the LGBTQ-plus community and its allies.

“In building a successful team, it’s critical that every person involved is treated with respect and support. The same thing needs to be true in our community both here in Indianapolis and with all our fans across the world,” said Ballard. “Bottom line, if you share our passion for the game and the horseshoe, you belong in Colts nation.”

Ballard says he and the rest of the Colts are excited for the future.

“We can’t wait to share it with all of our fans regardless of how they identify,” said Ballard.

The regular season starts for the Colts September 12 when they host the Seattle Seahawks at Lucas Oil Stadium.
