GREENWOOD, Ind. — A man from Greenwood has been arrested for a Memorial Day shooting.
Police were called Monday morning to an apartment complex in the 800 block of Alice Lane on a report of a person shot.
According to Greenwood police, a 24-year-old man was shot in the chest by his neighbor, 21-year-old Xavier Arnold, during a dispute.
The victim was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital, where he is in stable condition.
Arnold was arrested and taken to the Johnson County Jail on a preliminary charge of attempted murder.
