Man Hit by Car on Indy’s South Side

INDIANAPOLIS — A man is in serious condition after being hit by a car Friday morning on the city’s south side.
Officers were called to Madison and East Southern Avenues at around 5 a.m. after the man was hit, according to Indy Metro Police.
The driver who hit the man stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
Police are still looking into what happened.
