BROWNSBURG, Ind.–A body discovered in a storage unit in Brownsburg was ID’d as Roger Farmer, 58, of Indianapolis, believed murdered by his son. The body was discovered Thursday after some people reported at stench at the Ameri Stor facility on North Green St.

Marion County Coroner Alfie McGinty, said Farmer had a gunshot wound to the head.

On Dec. 27, 2019, family members reported Roger Farmer missing and IMPD began an investigation. He was last seen on Nov. 22, 2019 at his home on Wandering Way.

Info and evidence gathered by the Indianapolis Metro Police Missing Person’s Unit indicated that Farmer was murdered.

IMPD Detectives have arrested Jeremy Farmer, 35, of Indianapolis. He has been charged with murder. Police did not discuss a motive.
