INDIANAPOLIS – While doing surveillance for an investigation on April 28, Indianapolis police watched a funeral procession pass on a city street.
Officers of IMPD’s Crime Gun Intelligence Center saw men running cars off the road and waving guns out of their vehicle’s sunroof and windows, reports WISH-TV.
Police stopped the car at a gas station at the intersection of South Keystone Ave. and East Raymond Street.
According to a Facebook post from IMPD, officers found the following inside the vehicle:
- An FMK AR1 Extreme .300-caliber blackout pistol.
- A Metro Arms 1911 style pistol.
- A Ruger PC Charger 9mm pistol.
- A Sarisilmaz Model SAR9, 9mm semi-automatic pistol.
- A Smith & Wesson SD40 .40-caliber semi-automatic pistol.
- Suspected heroin-fentanyl, and marijuana.
Four men were arrested on drug and weapons charges and a fifth man was released at the scene. The four men arrested were Anthony Box, Khalil Box, Deandre Miller, and Ronald Templeton.
