MARTIN, CO., Ind. — A Martin Co. man admitted to having around a quarter-million pictures of child pornography.

Friday, April 30, Dubois County Community Corrections contacted the Martin County Sheriff’s Department for help while doing a home check on Timothy Guy.

Guy was on home detention for being convicted of possession of child pornography in the past. During the home check they had found more.

The Indiana State Police were called and over several hours, numerous printed child porn photos were found, and a large amount of electronic storage devices.

Police found more than 800 DVDs, at least 80 thumb drives, hard drives, and other electronic devices that are believed to have child porn on them.

While being interviewed by police, Guy said he had around a quarter-million images on the devices. He also said he had stolen ammunition from Crane naval base when he had been working there as an ammunition and explosive handler.

On May 5, Troopers, ICOs, NCIS and EOD personnel from Crane Naval base, searched his property and found a large amount of stolen government ammunition, pieces of ivory and more electronic storage devices.

Guy is charged with three counts of possession of child pornography.

Police continue to investigate and more charges could be added.
