President Biden echoed the CDC announcement Tuesday that if you are fully vaccinated, you are okay to be outside without a mask.
The irony is Biden walked to the podium solo, outside, with a mask on… we can’t make this stuff up.
A reporter asked the president what kind of message that sends Americans?
In a very odd (Joe-like) way he flashes a big smile and says he wanted the cameras and media to see him take his mask off.
“By watching me take it off and not put it back on until I got inside.”
What they should’ve done is added background music such as Feeling Good while he dramatically took off his mask. Can’t you see Joe in slo-mo whipping his mask off while you hear “It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new life, and I’m feeling good?” At least that would’ve been a joke we could get on board with.
Tony Katz says this gesture is the reason Americans won’t take Biden seriously.
“So you wore a mask solely for a photo op? That is exactly what people in America think and that’s why they aren’t listening. That’s why they’ve given up on you. That’s where the lack of faith comes from.”
