INDIANAPOLIS — A jury on Tuesday night convicted Tighe Bibbs of the Dec. 2018 murder of 16-year-old Shiloh Britton.
On the morning of Dec. 6, 2018, Britton’s mother found Britton with a gunshot wound to the head.
During the investigation, police learned that Bibbs and Britton had arranged for Bibbs to come to her Lawrence apartment before the murder. Surveillance video showed Bibbs entering and leaving Britton’s apartment twice on the night of the murder. His cell phone records placed him in the area near the victim’s apartment at the time of the murder.
Bibbs was arrested in April 2019 after police got an anonymous tip about his location.
Bibbs will be sentenced on May 17.
