INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Metro Police recently found a pipe bomb while searching a home.
The department’s Northwest District said in a Saturday morning Facebook post that the bomb was detonated by the IMPD Bomb Squad.
After the bomb was detonated, officers continued the search of the home and found an AK-47, several other firearms, some ammunition, more than $2,000 in cash, and cocaine.
One suspect was arrested for dealing cocaine and possession of a destructive device. IMPD did not identify the suspect.
