LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Police in Lafayette are investigating after a group of children found a dead man in a tent on Saturday.
The man’s body was found behind the store in the area of 18th Street and Brady Lane. He had been dead for a while, Tippecanoe County Coroner Carrie Costello told The Journal & Courier.
The Lafayette Police Department said it does not suspect foul play, but the man’s death is under investigation.
Costello said an autopsy will determine the man’s cause of death.
