INDIANAPOLIS— A person was shot by a Marion County deputy in Broad Ripple, Saturday afternoon.
Indianapolis Metro Police did not offer details about what happened.
The shooting happened around 5:30 p.m. on Westfield Blvd., about two blocks north of Broad Ripple Ave.
A police spokesperson said the person who was shot was in serious condition, but stable, at the hospital.
no police officers were hurt and officers are not looking for anyone else.
