INDIANAPOLIS — A bill that would’ve let you carry a handgun without a license is stalling in the state Senate.
The Indiana Senate is not taking up a bill that would repeal the state’s handgun permit requirements.
The bill passed through the Indiana House, but is being blocked by Republicans in the Senate.
One of the reasons for Senate opposition was the lack of support from Indiana State Police, the Indiana Association of Chiefs of Police, and the Indiana Fraternal Order of Police.
