INDIANAPOLIS — The search is on again today for a missing teenager whose canoe capsized in the White River.

Search and rescue experts with the Indianapolis Fire Department got the call a little after 7:15 Tuesday evening. Witnesses told them a man, a teenager, and a dog were all in a canoe heading downstream near the 16th street bridge.

They said the trio got too close to the Emrichsville Dam and got swept over.

The man and the dog were able to swim to shore, but the teenager is still missing. They plan to keep searching today.
