We’ve established that the southern border is an undeniable crisis. As of March 21st CBP had more than 15,500 unaccompanied children in custody.
Despite the ever-growing numbers, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas told several media outlets that the borders are closed. However, Mayorkas says they will not turn children away.
The Biden administration repeatedly states they are handling the situation in a humane way. Sen. Ted Cruz told FOX that what Democrats are doing is just continually putting minors in danger as they become human shields.
They don’t get the incentives that when they announce any child that comes can stay. It’s projected that over 100,000 unaccompanied minors will come in and anyone who puts a little boy or little girl in the custody of a human trafficker…that is not compassionate.
And Tony Katz agrees saying what they are doing is anything but humane.
It isn’t humane to say ‘come over’ and gives those people who do damage a reason to steal children.
