STATE HOUSE–The next secretary of state for Indiana will be state Rep. Holly Sullivan, a Republican from Evansville, reported IndyPolitics.org.
Gov. Eric Holcomb was expected to make the formal announcement at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon.

Sullivan will replace Connie Lawson, who is stepping down.
Sullivan serves on the House Elections Committee. The secretary of state is in charge of elections.
