INDIANAPOLIS — With low temperatures expected this weekend, the City of Indianapolis will open Municipal Gardens as a warming center.
Municipal Gardens is on 1831 Lafayette Road.
The warming center will be open to anyone in need of safe, warm shelter. It will be open from 8 p.m. Saturday through Monday morning.
Municipal Gardens was open as a warming center last weekend and five people used the space.
Municipal Gardens is easily accessible via IndyGo. Anyone in need of additional services or information is encouraged to call 211. Anyone in immediate danger should call 911.
