LOGANSPORT, Ind. — The search continues for a wanted man from Logansport.
On Wednesday morning, officers from the Indiana State Police, the Logansport Police Department, and the Cass County Sheriff’s Department responded to a home on 3315 Pottawatomie Road where shots were fired at people.
During the investigation, officers determined that the suspected shooter, Demacio Hernandez Martinez, ran away before officers arrived.
So far, he has not been found. He faces charges for intimidation, criminal recklessness, and battery on a person under 14 years of age.
Martinez is Hispanic, 5’10” and 200 pounds. He has dark hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing dark-colored clothing. Police say Martinez uses the aliases “George” and “Ernestor Hernandez Martinez”.
If you see Martinez, report his location to 911. Do not approach him. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
