INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Metro Police are investigating after a man was found shot inside his car Sunday night.
The man and his car were found near the intersection of 2900 East New York Street near Oxford Street. Police say he crashed his car into several other vehicles on E. New York Street after the shooting.
The victim had several gunshot wounds and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
IMPD says two young children and their mother were in the car at the time of the shooting. The woman and children were checked out by paramedics at the scene and are okay.
Police are still looking into what happened and have not released any information about possible suspects or a motive.
