BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — It seemed the coronavirus pandemic was going to rob us of this year’s Old Oaken Bucklet Game between Indiana and Purdue.
Now, the game has been rescheduled for Friday, Dec. 18. Kick off set for 7:30 p.m. EDT.
It had originally been canceled for it’s previous date of Dec. 12, because COVID related issues within both programs.
IU Athletics tweeted out the rescheduled date for the game early Sunday afternoon.
The Indiana Hoosiers are up to #7 in the Associated Press Top 25 rankings. The are still #12 in the College Football Playoff rankings with the new rankings set to come out on Tuesday.
