Nancy Cira

Cira heads up the Women’s Initiative program for United Way of Central Indiana.

She formerly was Governor Frank and Judy O’Bannon’s Residence Director. In 2003, Cira received a Sagamore of the Wabash outstanding citizenship award from Governor O’Bannon.

Cira has also worked for the Indiana Department of Tourism as the State Marketing Director.

She has hosted Spotlight for eleven years and prefers topics focusing on non-for-profit organizations, special events, and philanthropy/volunteerism.

Cira is a Butler University graduate.

Lisa Howe

Howe has had a long and successful career in the hospitality sales industry.

In 2007, Howe received a STAR award –“Director of Sales & Marketing of the Year.” She currently is the Director of Marketing for University Place Conference Center & Hotel.

Formerly, she held a position as the Regional Sales Manager for the First Hospitality Group, based out of Chicago.

She graduated from Indiana University with a B.A. in Economics and Telecommunications in 1985.

Topics of choice include arts and entertainment, fundraising/special events, personalities and educational non-for-profit organizations. Howe joined the radio show team in 2001

Glee Renick-May

May is the Executive Coordinating Producer/host. May has over 25 years of advertising/media marketing sales, public affairs and community relations achievements.

Currently she is employed with Curtis Magazines, Inc and has been hosting Spotlight Indianapolis for twenty years.

She has past experience in cable programming, commercial voice talent for radio and TV, local theater as an actress and director, former host and producer of a community affairs program “This is Your City,” that aired Sunday mornings, on WISH TV Channel 8.

May likes topics that focus on current issues, non-for-profit causes, business, women’s interests and health, social advocacy, and entertainment. She also is an Indiana University graduate with a B.A. in Liberal Arts.

Mike Thomas

Thomas has been a Spotlight Indianapolis host since early 2000. He is an Indiana Wesleyan University adjunct faculty member.

He received his MBA from Ohio State University in 1992. In addition, he is a management consultant for local non-profit organizations focusing on board development, strategic planning and business planning.

Thomas also is the Vice-President of the Westfield Washington Library Board.

His preference for show topics includes non-for-profit organizations and current affairs; educational and literacy issues.

Dennis Tooley

Tooley is President and CEO of Potential Unlimited, providing motivation messages to young people in schools through out the county.

He is a passionate youth organizational leader and advocate. He is on staff with the Indiana Youth Institute and in 1999 developed a program called, “Faith in Our Kids.”

Tooley also is the founder of Big Fat Belly Laugh Productions, promoting clean Christian comedy.

Tooley was diagnosed with MS in 2003 and performs a benefit stand-up comedy show twice a year to raise research money.

Tooley is very versatile and enjoys topics that especially relate to youth development and youth programs, community and governmental affairs/issues and entertainers. Tooley re-joined the Spotlight Indianapolis show team in 2006.
