for more than 65 years. WIBC may be on FM today, but we didn't
start that way. When the station began in 1938, WIBC was a 1,000
watt AM daytime only station, broadcasting from the Indianapolis
Athletic Club. Today, there are multiple ways to get information

website has won the RTNDA (Radio and Television News Directors
Association) Award as Best Radio Website in the Midwest Region
in 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2006, and has earned the Associated Press
award as best radio website in Indiana five consecutive years,
