Liz Thomas

Liz Thomas is a news anchor and reporter for both WIBC and Network Indiana. You can hear her on WIBC newscasts on Sunday afternoons.

Liz came to WIBC and Emmis from WRZQ/WGYB in Columbus, Ind., where she served as News Director. She has also worked as a news anchor and reporter for White River Broadcasting in Columbus.

Liz is a graduate of Franklin College and has a BA in Broadcast Journalism.

During her career, Liz has won a wide variety of awards from the Indiana Broadcasters Association and the Society of Professional Journalists.

When not working, Liz is an avid runner, who has won several long-distance running events throughout central and southern Indiana including the Indianapolis Marathon in 2005.
